What is your favorite place on campus? Why?

Mean Greens Dining Hall! It is the very first all vegan dining hall in the U.S. and it’s home to UNT’s very own hydroponic garden.

What do you believe is the best resource UNT offers for transfer students?

One of the best resources to transfer students is the UNT Transfer Guides! Students can see just how their community college courses will apply to a UNT degree plan. The guides can also help students plan ahead which classes they need to take.

What advice would you give to a community college transfer to UNT?

Use all the resources available to you — meet with a transfer counselor, take a campus tour and utilize the Transfer Center. These resources will make your transition that much smoother.

What do you enjoy doing when not at work?

When I’m not working I enjoy hanging out at coffee shops around town with a good book and good company. I also enjoy finding fun things in Denton- whether it’s Yoga on the square, listening to music at Twilight Tunes, or visiting awesome restaurants like Barley & Board or Tex Tapas.

Your favorite inspirational saying or motto?

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
--Martin Luther King, Jr.
